What are betting corridors and how to use them

Various strategies help players profit from bookmaker bets, and one of these is betting corridors. This article explains the essence of this betting model, its advantages and disadvantages, and how to use it effectively.

If you place corridor bets on Over 1 goal with odds of 1.6 and Under 3 goals with odds of 1.9, splitting the amount into two 50 rubles bets, you get 50 * 1.6 + 50 * 1.9 = 175 rubles.

Polish Corridor: This is the opposite of the standard corridor; the game result should not fall within the formed range of outcomes. The task is to bet on a result that won’t happen. For example, you believe that in a match between Chelsea and Liverpool, the teams won’t score precisely three goals. You bet on Under 2.5 and Over 3.5 goals, covering all outcomes except for exactly three goals. The bet loses if the teams score exactly three goals.

Regardless of the corridor type used, the main goal is correctly defining the range boundaries. This reduces the risk of financial loss, ensures a guaranteed cashback, or provides a good profit if the bet hits.

Corridors are a controversial strategy. Some bettors find it safe to play with minimal risk and avoid significant bankroll drawdowns. Others believe the strategy is complex and suitable only for professionals. Like many other betting models, corridors have pros and cons.

Advantages of Using Corridors:

• You can retain part of your money in the event of a loss (60% or more).
• There’s a high chance of making a good profit even with a small bankroll (if both bets win).
• A wide range of sports disciplines can implement the strategy.

Disadvantages of the Strategy:

• It requires experience and skills. To find a corridor, you must understand at least one type of sport well, follow events, and analyze them.

The second option is less risky; you can calculate, compare, and analyze odds at your own pace. However, finding a range with guaranteed profit in pre-match betting is challenging.
